"Worth it for the softness--finally someone puts the fleece on the inside! But the brown color is almost purple and the medium feels slim rather than regular fit (I'm a size 8 usually). The wide hems at cuffs and bottom roll and bunch up a little. Seems pricey. That said, I'm practically living in it."

"I tried Patagonia's other fleece jackets for women, and they were all too short for me. This one is not long, but not too short, either. I bought this for my sister (5'8"), and she loves it!
I love the slim shape. The fleece feels so good... So far, best fleece jacket ever!"

"I don't usually wear outdoorsy gear. I dress nicely everyday and may be the only one wearing heels in the room. But I needed a jacket like this as my schedule changed and I had to sometimes be dressed in workout gear pre-workout in public. This jacket is addictive. My daughter wants one, my husband wants one. I wore it for an hour in pounding rain and I stayed dry inside! Amazing. Wash and wear easy."

"The latest version of this old faithful style is a little thinner than the older versions, but the material is much nicer. The texture is really nice, it makes you feel warmer just touching it. So COZY!! Great from the forest to the fireplace."

"My husband and I recently moved from Philadelphia to upstate NY. I wouldn't have survived the transition without this fleece. As I'm still getting used to the colder weather, this jacket never leaves me. I usually wear an xs (5'1, 110lbs) and an xs fits perfectly. it is slim-fitting across the chest (32C), but not restrictive. I have it in the brown color and it has retained its color over numerous washings. The hood is my absolute favorite part. I wear this jacket in the spring and fall, and now that I'm in upstate NY, I wear it under my down jacket. Love it!"

"I bought a Synchilla Hoody in 2007 and again last year. Although I like the 2007 version better (it's shorter and made of a different type of fleece), I would still recommend this one. It's super soft and warm. I'm petite (5' tall) so this year's version is a bit too long, and the sleeves are also too long. I wish Patagonia made petitie sizes! If you are average height this will probably fit you well. The green is beautiful!"

"Warm, cozy, looks good and a perfect fit. My favorite light jacket right now. The only thing I'm noticing now is that it is starting to pill and mat a little bit, after 2 or 3 washes. Not terrible though."

"I got this for my wife and it was love at first sight (try on, actually), but you get the point. The first thing she said was "it feels so good!" and that was just her hand going into the sleeve. After she got the entire Hoody on and zipped up, it was difficult to get her out of it. She just kept feeling the fabric with her hands. She said it is so nice she can wear it around the house or at work on cold days. I am betting she will find a lot more uses for it and that my daughter will want one as well."

"I just received my Plush Synchilla Hoody today. Took it out of the box, put it on and I don't want to take it off! The texture is so soft, lightweight and amazingly comfortable. It's 80 degrees here so I'm hoping for cooler weather! I will be ordering other colors!"

"Just as it says, it is incredibly soft, so soft you want to hug yourself. It is also very warm for such a light piece. It is great as a stand alone piece or a layer. i purchased brown and after wearing it, had to purchase the black!
