"I bought this jacket in black for my husband since he is riding a scooter to work and school and he loves it! Blocks the tough wind here in the Rockie Mt., it's a great length for his long arms, cute jacket to wear and most importantly keeps him warm."

"I bought the jacket on Web Specials-the price was too good to pass up. I am pleased with the jacket, but I ordered a medium, and it is a little big. I have had this experience with other Patagonia jackets. I am evidently just between a small and a medium, but I would rather have a coat a little big than a little small. The cuffs are a little loose as well."

"I bought a large and it was a bit to big I ended up reordering another in a medium. The warmth was nice and it blocked the wind. I sent my father the large and he wears it all the time. He works up in the mountains in California for a Hydro-Electric Company. He's in all kinds of weather from Chilly days to stormy nights. Oh and the Snow in the winter. He's been wearing this jacket all the time. It's a nice jacket."

"I really love this jacket. I combine it with my puff ball vest and can handle all but the coldest days. Two suggestions. First, all of the slash pockets should be zip close. Second, the poly-side pockets should be lined.
Minor tweeks, on an excellent all purpose jacket."

"I am a long time ski patroler and have used patagonia insulation layers my whole career. The new coat is nicer than the micropuff and is my new favorite. It is nice to see that your products quality never change even with a new design."

"Finally, Patagonia has made sleeves long enough for a person that normally wears a Tall garment. The torso is barely long enough and could use an extra inch or two in length. The smooth ripstop polyester is very nice and the Retro Pile is very nice as well, thick and sure to keep you warm, especially with the wind stopping ability of the polyester side. I ordered a black jacket. It was very exciting to finally have a thick pile shelled jacket, but to my surprise, when I opened the snaps and unzipped it, the fleece was a mottled dark gray color, not black. To Patagonia's credit, they issued a call tag to return it, but I double checked the description and pictures, both seemed to verify that the fleece side should have been black. Oh well, for that price, I will wait and see if they can get it right next year. Black is black and the inside should match the outside if that is how it is described."
