great pants, poor sizing

"Love the pants, but sizing is poor. I'm a 37 waist and the Large are not big enough, and the only way to size down the XL is through a velcro strap on the inside waist located on the back of the pants. Aside from being incovenient, the sizing efforts on the XL aren't enough to keep them from falling off. With a better fit, these get 5 stars."

"First pair of insulated ski pants that I've had and absolutely love them so far. In the past I would have a pair of capilene long underwear, a middle layer and then my waterproof ski pants. Now I just need a pair of capilene underwear and my sidewalls. This, with the baggy style of the pants, makes for a very restriction free ride. The inner thigh zips help on the skin track while the left thigh pocket is designed for the zipper to be on top when you are sitting on a chair lift to keep items from falling out (pretty clever). I haven't had a chance to test them in a wet storm yet but am looking forward to the chance."

"Every year I try and predict the "gear of the year". My criteria is good price point, functionally, and a little "pizazz" The men's insulated sidewall pants excel at all three. Fit was perfect, relaxed, but not "teen baggy". The velvet brown is so stylish, I'm tempted to wear them apres ski. Thigh vents work great, and the insulation was very warm, without overkill. Use them for both lift served skiing, as well as long climbs for tele skiing"
