"I've been climbing, hiking, doing yoga, and even swimming in this bra all summer. Despite the fabric's heft, it hasn't added to any body-heat discomfort despite the summer heat. It is also nice to know that when I'm working up a good sweat I can just whip my shirt off and use the bra itself (lovely patterns, eh?) as a top. Good stuff."

"This is my 1st Patagonia active bra and so far I think it performs nicely. It fits snuggly and comfortably, as it should. Just used it for a session at the rock climbing gym, and was very impressed w/ the support and freedom of movement it allowed."

"I go to work with this bra. I sleep in it. I do yoga with it. I climb with it. If you're looking for a bra that has higher coverage than most sports bras (b/c you are heavier up there), this bra is perfect for every day use. I couldn't run in it as I would need more support, but I recently became pregnant and it serves wonderfully as good support for day and night. I have 5 of them and I hope Patagonia never stops making them."

"Comfortable and flattering fit. Fabric is durable and high quality. Can be exposed through one's clothes or used as a bathing suit top without the least bit of impropriety. So happy to get it on sale. I bought 3 with the matching panties. Can take only one small bag on our African trip this year, and you can bet these will be in it."

"This bra is so comfortable-- I'm buying a second one. Its flattering enough that I'm tempted to wear it to work so that I can more easily head into a workout. I'm a 34/32 B and the small fits perfectly."

"I really really want to fit into one of these sports bras. The material is amazing and everything fits perfectly...except it comes up too high under my arms. Anything over 8 miles of running causes cuts my skin to rub raw. Good for climbing but I expect my sports bras to be able to do all sports."

"This is, hands down, the best and most flattering moderate-support sports bra that I have found. It doesn't flatten you out like a compression bra but still manages to provide enough support for yoga or lower impact workouts. I'm usually a 34C and the medium fits great. (Although I've managed to squeeze into a small, something to consider if you want more support.) I love the different colors and tattoo designs. A pretty, functional sports bra. "I just received this today and tried it on right away. I loooove it!!! I could tell right away that this will be a favorite. I am a 32B, 5'3", 120lbs and the small fits perfectly. Its has excellent support and I could totally run, climb, snowboard in it. If you were any larger chested than me I would say go with a medium. I wasnt too sure about the color lipstick (not a big pink fan) but its an awesome color! I got the claret red undies to go with it. Love them both."

"I have several of the tank tops which use this same bra built in and I am very pleased with the stand alone bra version. I find that the tight fabric of the tank top rides up under other layers. On cooler days, when I won't ever make it down to a tank top, the mesh bra provides good support and is more comfortable for layering."

"The w's active mesh bra gives solid support for high impact aerobic activities. I am a small busted woman, so I cannot say if it would work as well for B cups and above, but for me (A) it works great. I've used it on treadmills and nordic walking, and will use it skiing this winter. While I would appreciate a bit lighter fabric, I would recommend this product for any woman who wants support during exercise."

"I have three of these tops and I still find myself digging them out of the hamper in favor of other ones sitting in the bureau drawer. I have a larger bust size (D) and the straps are wise enough to avoid cutting into my shoulders and the support is substantial enough for light activity. I use these mostly for climbing, and the occasional day hike. They look good on and are so comfortable that I'm starting to favor them over my high end underwire bras."

"I now have three Mesh Bras. The original one I bought 5 years ago has stood the test of time and not lost its shape. It also doesn't smell. I added 2 more to my collection because they are so comfortable and I love the pattern on the front; it hides the fact that I am an A cup. I wear them alone for hot yoga and it looks great with my black pants."

"I always wear small in patagonia clothing, but I ordered this in a medium since the color I wanted wasn't available in a small. Good thing I did- even the medium was tight on me! I really noticed it in the shoulders and under the arm pit. The bra also came up very high on my chest, it could have been lower and still been appropriate. Seems like a great, quality bra though, just not for me."
