Great Laptop Bag

"I absolutely love this bag, and only really have two complaints and a caution. The construction is high quality, the seatbelt-style strap is amazing (and doesn't catch on clothes), and the velcro main flap closure works like a charm.
My complaints are simple: First, the laptop sleeve is oversized for my MacBook, and so it doesn't hold it as securely as I'd like. Second, this bag has an excellent zipper pocket on the end, but when I carry the bag as I like (hanging on my left side), the pocket is unreachable and at the back. This is awkward and frustrating.
The caution is on size: This bag has limited size, especially if you are carrying many books. I like the size, it seems to work well for me. I can carry my SLR, a book to read, my Moleskine, my Macbook and a handful of accessories with no problem. Or a change of clothes and my macbook. But if you start trying to carry lunch, extra water, a bike helmet, a video camera, assorted climbing gear, shoes, and a baby…well, you get the picture. This bag forces me to be minimalist, and that I like.
If you are looking for a lightweight bag for commutes and café runs, you'll be exceptionally pleased with this good-looking specimen."

Long Lost Love

"I recently purchased this bag in lime green. After having spent months researching messenger bags-searching for one that was simple, was large enough for my laptop, didn't make me look like a bike messenger w/o a bike...and at a reasonable price, I stumbled upon this gem! It's absolutely perfect to carry everyday. I've used it as a carry on bag for flying, a gym bag, a weekend 'stroll around the city' bag, a commute bag...no matter how full of things it doesn't dig into my shoulder (thank you wide strap!) and it's sleek enough to carry to work. The small pocket on the side is perfect for my cell phone and keys - items I always end up digging tirelessly for in other bags!
The only thing is my 17" macbook pro doesn't fit in the designated pocket (i'm sure the 15" does) but it does fit in the main body of the bag. Which is fine by me!
I also ordered my bag through my local Patagonia store. Everyone that helped me was so nice and just excited to talk to me about my bag! I am in search of my next patagonia purchase just so I can go back. I've been highly recommending this bag to anyone who will listen to me."

"This product is perfect for business casual environment. However, it could be more functional specific to pockets and places to stow items. Once I figured out where to put my stuff (initially could not fit small umbrella) it works for me and has the standard quality and durability you expect from Patagonia. The name is perfect as I carry everything I need now for the "daily grind"."

"The bag is nice. Wish it came with a padded shoulder strap as it is a bit akward carrying without one. All in all a good bag."

"I use this bag every day. It's stuff's everything you need, computer, extra shirt, notebook, leatherman, etc... Pluse the car-seat-belt webbing is smooth and doesn't catch on your cloths as you quickly slide it around to grab that must-have-now item."
