sizing is bad

"I was very excited about this shirt, as I've worn the short-sleeve equivalent for many years - the A/C shirt, with super light weight gauzy cotton fabric. But when it arrived it was obviously way too small. When I returned it for the next size up, I got a message that that size was not available. I checked the web page and saw that all sizes in all colors were sold out. Patagonia must have had massive problems with the sizing and withdrawn the product from market. I hope that's temporary, as I would happily buy this shirt in the right colors and patterns (please something other than plaids!) once the size problems are worked out."

"Great shirt. Usual good quality and great colors. Comfort is great. Hate to be negative about a brand I love so much... but the one odd thing I noticed about this shirt was the slightly short sleeves.... A bit shorter than most Large shirts I've bought in the past from Patagonia (i.e. Pima Cotton Shirts). The sleeves are so short... I may opt to hang dry the shirt so that shrinking won't make the sleeves awkwardly short.
Happy in general....but that does bug a bit"
