"I recently purchased these shoes for an upcoming trip, and love, love, love them! Although I just received them today, I have not taken them off since they arrived this morning! - That's how comfortable they are! I'm anxious and excited to try them out on my trip, as every review I've read, says they are the perfect travel shoe! Definitely, go with a darker color, as opposed to lighter, as it doesn't show dirt as much! Great shoe!!"

"I bought these shoes mainly because I had a sore foot and I thought they wouldn't irritate it while it was mending. To my surprise they not only helped my foot, but now they are my favorite shoes! The inner leather slipper shapes to your foot as you wear them and not only do they feel better and better, they look good with dresses as well as jeans!"

"I bought them when they first came out as a work-shoe-gone-comfy in Brown and recently bought a second pair in Olallaberry for a trip to Japan since they are the perfect travel shoe. They have been a great shoe for me... their comfort is unparalleled in the world of work shoes and traveling. Complaints: my brown ones discolored quickly, retained footsmell to the point of no return (since they aren't the type of shoe I wear socks with), and I should have worn the outsole when bike commuting as I wore through the insole with my pedals.
PS to duck-footers: I have wide feet and these fit great."

"I normally wear an 8 1/2 and had to go to a 9, because that rubber strap thing was digging into my skin really bad! Otherwise they are super cute, and versatile. You can dress them up or down, which is all that really matters to me. Get ready for the compliments!!"

"I first tried these on in the store, and loved them. The fit was nice and they were quite comfortable. The store only had one color, so I decided to order them online. When I recieved my first pair, I noticed they fit a little wide, and I did not care for the mushroom color. So I sent them back in exchange for black. The black ones I recieved had a poor fit as well. One shoe even seemed bigger than the other!! These shoes fit very wide, maybe order size down. Me, I might try a different style."

"1. I love the dual function of the shoe: light cute, light slipper-esk shoe or slip on the bottom for a more comfortable out and about shoe. It's easy to slip the bottom off and on.
2. It's pretty comfortable. I've only had it for a little over a week so I have yet to break it in, but so far so good. We'll see in 3-4 months.
3. They had my size. I'm a size 5.5 so it's difficult to find shoes I like in my size.
Cons: It is a bit pricy, but I was willing to throw down some dough in exchange for what I got. I think it was worth it."

"I really like the color good to wear in the spring with lighter colors. The size is a little off I wear a 8.5 and these fit loose. I was hoping to wear these with skirts and dresses but I have to wear socks with them. Other then that I really like them."

"great shoes! love the design concept- 2 in one- and even better is their wearability. comfy for walking/biking to work and looking cute when you get there. the fit is a bit wide- very generous toe box. i wear a half size down from my usual (7.5 instead of 8)."

"What a great pair of shoes! I ride my bike to work and these shoes are perfect to do just that. The outer sole provides excellent grip on the pedals and once I get to work I take off the outer sole, leaving just the insole. The insole provides great arch support and thus are comfortable to walk around in all day. They look so cute either way you wear them. They are also true to size. Patagonia makes excellent products so expect nothing less!"

"I normally wear 6.5. The shoes fit tight at the plastic band/anchor. I was afraid that the plasic will break upon wear and tear. Exchanged for a 7. The width at the plastic anchor/band felt better but now the overall shoes is a bit loose. It is a great concept to have 2 shoes in one. But the plastic anchor is a bit tenuous."

"I am not one to be into "cute shoes", but I have to say these may have changed me. They were a little uncomfortable at first, but after a few wears the leather has become SO soft and comfortable. It is great to know shoes can be stylish and practical!! The mushroom color goes with everything!"

"I like these shoes, they are comfortable and fun with two looks and two functions. I have the mushroom brown color. The only drawback is the color of the inner shoe is light so when wearing the rubber shoe in trail areas the dirt gets inside and discolors the lighter ballerina slipper. If you are going to order the shoe, go with a darker color so you don't have this issue."

"I got these shoes for my big move from California to New York City. The perfect little black shoes that could make it through both puddles and a fancy restaurant. They were unbelievably comfortable and versatile. I planned on keeping them new for New York but I couldn't help wearing them a few times...you know, just to break them in! Within 3 weeks of buying them the wee little plastic piece that each side together on the outside strap broke. I probably wore them 4-5 times.
Now this is Patagonia we're dealing with you so if there is a problem with their product they take care of you. They gave me cash back and I ended up getting some sweet stuff on sale so no problems there.
They offered to give me another pair of the same shoe but I just have the feeling that it would break again. It just seems that the little bit that is supposed to hold this shoe together seems pretty weak for a part of the shoe that gets so much stress on it. Just a design flaw. I should probably also add that I don't have the narrowest of feet so it probably didn't help.
But if they make the strap a little more substantial you can bet your bottom I'll be getting another pair of these wickedly rad shoes!"

"I found these shoes to be very versatile and found many uses for them. The ability to remove the rubber portion of the shoe is a bonus-allowing use during wet days and removing for a ballerina style casual look.
Note: be carefeul not to put too much stress on the outer part of the shoe where the strap comes over...I broke mine the very first time I tried them on. Even so, I enjoy these shoes very much and have received many complements."

"I did not have problems at all with the fit of this shoe--in fact, I have very delicate feet and was somewhat nervous about wearing these shoes during a research trip in Uganda and Indonesia. I could only take two pairs of shoes for the trip, and I ended up wearing these the entire time! The pigskin got softer and softer with use, and although I was sweating a lot the shoes never smelled bad. I was pleasantly surprised on many levels by the performance of these shoes."

"I love these shoes!
They are very comfortable and coordinate with a lot of my clothes.
I do not wear the insoles seperately as they've become stained from the black outsole.
I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe normally but a 7 in this shoe works fine because I do not wear them with socks."

"It took a couple of weeks to break them in (the back of the heels started out hard), but now these are easily my favorite shoes in my closet. Great for walking around outdoors as the rubber protects your feet from rocks and sticks, and they easily allow sprints to catch the bus. Plus they fetch compliments from cute boys!"
