"It seems many buyers doubt this shoe will hold up to alot of use. I have put around 20 miles a day on these shoes for a total of about two months and at tjis point I still find very little wear in sole or upper. I think this is a great shoe that is warm and allows the foot to breathe. That said they are not for wet weather"

"Great stitching, unbelievable fit & the most comfortable shoes I own. Random people keep asking me where i picked these puppies up. Whoever designed the Larry shoe needs a pat on the back for these comfy kicks."

"Just want to chime in and say I have had these for 2 years and they are hands down the best shoes I own. I wear them all winter long and they still look brand new. They are built to last and ultimately the most comfortable shoes you will ever own!"

"These shoes, wait . . . the term shoes do them no justice; these glorious pieces of green goodness are wonderful. they are comfortable and pretty darn good lookin. I live in a town that is regularly hovering around zero, and my feet are always toasty, whether I'm wearing smartwool or not. These slips are fantastic."

"i love these shoes when they are new...but they lose some of their cushion when you start doing any kind of serious walking in them. they are not for your typical new yorker. but for something to change into after hiking/skiing/snowboarding/cycling or even just wearing around home or a quick dog walk they are great. they slip right on and are one of the most comfortable shoes ever. they are warm but dont make your feet sweat. i might try adding in some gel inserts since i like to walk to work in them and the cushioning has worn out a bit."

"I bought these shoes for everyday use in and out of doors. They look great in all conditions and with many different pant/shirt combinations. At first I was apprehensive about the fact that they are slip-ons because I hate having slip-ons that slip-off. Larry fits great, does not slip around on my foot, and has a snug heel cup. If you want them to be tighter, the laces (elastic) can constricted. The shoe is very warm and at times I wish Larry could breath a bit better."

"So comfortable they felt like I was wearing slippers outside. Love the elastic laces allowing them to slip on and off but what I liked best was the the fact they don't slip on ice. A lot of winter boots with rubber soles are okay in snow but on ice and tile floors they can be a very slippery. Kuddos. and please don't discontinue."

"-Very warm when dry -Even walking on the lightest snow fall, your feet will automatically start becoming damp and eventually very wet. -I live in Boston where winters are WET/COLD. -Water gets in from poor sole construction it seems like. -Wool area good keeping out most powder. -Wool area not good at keeping out direct water (ie.slushy puddles, sleet)"

"These are easily one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned. I have slightly flat feet. The soles aren't rigidly supportive which isn't a bad thing to me rather, they are soft but the shoe stays in place on your foot without feeling tight. If you ever run in these (like you left your keys in the house or you're being chased by a dog) you'd think you had a great basketball shoe on. Love the styling and have received many compliments on how they look. Didn't see that they were slip-on when i ordered them; i like that aspect even more. Quality construction with nice leather lining which may prevent me from wearing them sans socks. Patagonia: please don't discontinue these, I want another pair. I will say, avoid very rainy days in these if you can; Larry doesn't seem to like the rain."

"If you are someone who wants a shoe with the form of another shoe company's(ryhmes with Bark's), but do not want to look like everyone else then go with the Patagonia Larry. First off they are extremely comfortable. Secondly they are very cool looking. They will turn heads. Lastly i have never owned another pair of shoes that was so easy to slide off and on. There are no laces to deal with on this pair of shoes."

"He loves these so much. I bought them for him since he has quite a bit of trouble with his feet. He has had several operations and works all day in our warehouse. I had not intended that he wear them to work but they are so comfortable and give him the support that he needs will just have to buy another pair for him. We both love that they are "green" Thank you Patagonia for the offering"

Sole unlikely to last more than a few months.

"Generally I'm satisfied with this M's Larry comfort. These shoes should not be worn by those with flat feet or a person needs a shoe with motion control. Initial quality is good; however, the sole is very thin and likely not to last more than a few months with casual use."

"This shoe is my primary shoe for work and casual hanging around. Goes great with jeans or khakis. Unbelievably warm, wearing it outside at night around the fire in thirty degree weather. Could not believe how warm. And it washes well with hot water from a high pressure spray, like the one from my kitchen sink. Light soap helps. And the insoles remove easy, and I stuff the insides with paper towells to dry and hold shape. But it never loses its shape. I would not brush or agitate with a stiff brush."

"The Henry is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. It is so laid back and comfortably casual that you can not help but catch the same attitude. There is no way to have a bad day if you are wearing these shoes. Period. Size is true aross all Patagonia footwear, I wear a 10 1/2 in every pair I own and all of them are comfortable, but the Henry is the comfortable attitude you wear on your feet!"

"Not that compliments impact the practicality or effectiveness of a product, but I have received more comments and questions on these shoes than any other item of clothing I have ever worn. So, if you are looking for a unique and great looking pair of kicks...here ya go! Hands down the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have worn in decades. The midsole is made of an incredibly absorbing substance. However, due to the minimalist nature of the upper and midsole, this shoe is not designed for running, hiking, other significantly impactful activities. So, what is this shoe good for...they are the ideal match to a long day of hiking and boots...tak the pack off...put the Larry's on...and your feet are recovering in Nirvana. Beyond hiking, the wool upper works in both cool and hot weather... For a day of relaxing, beaching, picking vegetables...or after an exhaustive day on the bike or on the trails...the Larry's are the perfect match!"

"The M's Larry shoe is by far one of the most comfortable shoes out of the box that I've ever owned. Great traction on inclement surfaces, and very, very warm but also breaths well. To my surprise, they are also very waterproof. A woolite type product is suggested, and will increase the life and water resistance of the shoes. I would say though, they are a bit too warm for mid summer use in my opinion. Highly recommended!!!"
