"Love this sandal, fits loose but not at all sloppy. Back strap stretched out after a few weeks, I use it as a slide on now and it still stays on foot nicely. Lots of compliments from both genders. Kudos!"

"These are the sandals I've been looking for for at least the past five years. They fit securely but are open around the toes. (My toes can use a rest from regular shoes.) Very comfortable!"

"These sandals are very comfortable, and provide good cushioning and support. I bought them for traveling around Europe and thought that they would be supportive for walking around in town. However, like others have reported, the back strap wore out after only 3 weeks. I walked around quite a bit during those 3 weeks, but they really should stand up to heavy walking on flat sidewalks. If this could be fixed, it would be a great shoe!"

"I bought these because they were cute. I didn't plan on wearing them every day because they didn't look like they had much support. However, they do have good support, good soles on the bottom, and are very comfortable! I find that I want to wear them every day. BTW, why would I spend $50 on cute sandals? Patagonia has an incredible grants program to local watershed groups. Every time you make a purchase, it's like giving to a charitable organization AND getting a great product! Thanks Patagonia!"

"My first pair of these sandals broke at the elastic strap in the back by the buckle within the first few months I owned them. I took them back and replaced them, and the new ones are holding up so far! Very comfortable, no blisters, and great walking shoes!"

"I love these sandals. They are super comfortable and very attractive. I love that they are as simple and lightweight as a flip-flop, but still have a back strap. This makes walking around much easier.
Additionally, I wear these when I bike to school because they both look great, and stay on my feet! I am super happy with my Alkali sandals"

"The sandals are great at first. Great fit and style. My feet are really sensitive and I got no blisters even after wearing them all day long. But after about 3 months of use the straps have worn off almost completely around the buckle. Now I am afraid to wear them because it looks like they are going to break any time. It's a great style, but doesn't last more than one (upstate NY) season."

"when i purchased these sandals at the start of summer, i just loved them--comfortable and cute enough to wear to work once in a while. however, after wearing them through the summer, the straps are almost worn through enough to break. i am used to the quality you get from brands like chaco and keen when you pay $80+ for a pair of shoes. with the price tag and quality that usually comes from patagonia, i feel that these should have lasted me at least another summer. i love patagonia and their committment to sustainable, quality products, but i think they need to work out the kinks with their footwear line still."

"I'm a firm believer in feet being comfortable but I also want a sandal that looks good. I've gotten so many compliments on how cool these sandals look. And they are incredibly comfortable (as comfy as my old Birkenstock-types but much better looking) and no blisters. They are dressy and casual. I'm headed to Africa and plan to bring these along for walking. I'm definately going to buy another pair."
